Dear WeCare MEMBER / PHARMACIST
This is just a quick “Catch Up” from the WeCare Network Team throughout South Africa, for Members and “wannabe” or future members.
For those in the know, we are now way past the 300 member mark. Furthermore, we are very proud to tell you that we also now have 9 ROM’s (Regional Operations Managers) lead by Paul Beukes in Gauteng and 5 Business Centre Ladies lead by Henriette Farrell in Cape Town.
There is still more to come and as we learn modern retail techniques, we (and you) can see the improvement, in real numbers through the Izzy data warehouse. Turnovers are improving, shops are looking good, retention of customers has improved and lost customers are coming back through the repeat SMS programs being used extensively.
Phew, what a long sentence, sorry we’ll keep the rest shorter
So many things to tell you about, where to start?
How about kicking off with the VALUE PROPOSITION OF WECARE? Such a big word, all it means is that we are helping you make more money and create a better customer experience…
Just a small point: We won’t give exact numbers here, because as you well know, we do have competitors and they can go investigate what they’re up against. Why make it easy? But what we can tell you is that the numbers are overwhelmingly good!
Firstly, if you’re using the power of “White label” and the tracking ability it gives, well then you already know that it is worth a lot of money every month. In many cases the work load is reduced by one full-time employee, that’s in time alone! And remember it’s the first product of its kind ever released.
Secondly, our Loyalty Card system has become our Flagship product with an average of 2 sites being installed weekly! Don’t fall behind. (Remember WeCare was always a classic chicken and egg example of a starting business).
If you were unlucky to have missed the Loyalty training sessions, please note, that, the number one benefit of Loyalty is obtaining your customers details, like cell number, email address, then get them to join your Facebook page, etc. This data is the ONLY way in the future, that pharmacy (in fact all business) will be able to market “outside the store”.
Your number one marketing priority should be
the collection of customer contact details!
You see, right now, we literally TALK to an enormous volume of REPEAT customers by SMS monthly, they are collecting their scripts (before the corporate pharmacy gets to your patient) from our member stores, that together with the specialized repeat reports is “bringing home the bacon”, dear members!
WeCare Ordering is now available as a free-standing, multi-supplier system or as a New Integrated Ordering System (another first in pharmacy). Ask your ROM for a demo. In fact, while they are there, why not ask them to show you what the RAND VALUE of WeCare really is?
We did a price comparison (Each ROM has a copy so ask them to show you) and why not work out for yourself the cost of your Ordering System + Loyalty Card System + Clinic + White Label Clerk + Data Warehouse (doing all your customer contacting for repeat collection via SMS) + Customer Monthly magazine + your Web Page + your own Broadsheet mailed directly to your customers?

So we said this was a quick “Catch Up” because we have been busy, busy, busy again, training all over the country and WeCare members and ourselves are getting smarter and better daily.
Members read their Dashboards at the pharmacy or at home on their Smart phones and have hands on business intel 24/7. Then the insights in the new “Rhain’s Report” plus the Business Centre’s weekly update calls are changing the way our members do business. Marketing is a reality though our design department and so is your electronic service delivery and connection to customers.
What can possibly be new then?
Well you know what our two main policies and business drivers are:
- Create ways that our pharmacy members can build their businesses from dispensary through the front shop
- Our members can opt out (cancel membership) immediately, we don’t believe in long term contracts based on promises, we are CONFIDENT that we will deliver Useful Services and Proper IT tools to step up Customer Retention. Our big goal is to keep you “Connected to Your Customers” using the latest technology and more importantly, automation, so you can give your customers real hands on shopping experiences.

Now that’s what we are talking about, DELIVERY not some vague promise!
Another exciting project we are working on and should be in the pipeline very soon is our Dead Stock Report. As we speak, our programmers are coding in some extra parameters. This NEW report built into your existing system will go hand in hand with a nifty new way of labelling and selling dead and expired stock, so that you NEVER waste money and shelf space again in future!
All WeCare pharmacies will also have the option of Daily Totals being mailed straight out of the system to their mailboxes. This will no doubt be extremely helpful to the owner, who’ll be able to keep his finger on the pulse of his business more effectively.
So what are we looking for from you, our members?
IDEAS! How can we become much smarter retailers and customer retention experts?
We would welcome all ideas and if we don’t know how to do something, we promise to do our absolute best to go looking and we’ll learn, research and get whatever training is necessary to become the best together.
