It was encouraging to see such a positive response to our previous “Catch Up” letter. Last time, we spoke about the VALUE PROPOSITION of WeCare.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve on our products and services, making it easier for you to deliver excellent service to your own customers.
Now we know you’re probably thinking, “What could possibly have changed since our last “Catch Up” letter?” The answer is A WHOLE LOT! The real question is where to start…?
Okay firstly, we’re excited to let you know that our brand-new merchandising packs are just about ready to roll out and if you were one of the people that said “Visit me first with this”, we’ll uphold our promise! 😉 By the time our next letter comes out, we’ll have a price list and an order form for you. We believe that this simple project is going to be the real “game changer.”
Secondly, the “Shape Up” issue of the Yes, We Care magazine came out in October, and it’s our most popular cover so far! If you’d like some posters for your pharmacy, we can send you artwork, or if you’d prefer we can print some out for you at a very reasonable price (maximum size A3). We can even share the mag to your Facebook page, just give us a call. There’s some exciting development underway with the magazine, but we’ll save that for the next letter…
SPEAKING OF “THE INTERNET OF THINGS”…
…we’ve assisted many of our pharmacies in setting up their WeCare web pages and Facebook pages. Our Business Centre ladies and marketing team are happy to show you how to set up your own Facebook page if you’re the “independent type” (pun intended).
One of our Cape Town members told us he’s seen massive growth to his bottom line since opening his Facebook page three months ago. He offers snippets of advice on whatever health issue is trending and people are liking and sharing his stuff like crazy, which is bringing more feet through the door!
IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN
Other members are sharing Christmas gifting ideas, while some have promoted holiday items like sunscreen and first aid travel kits, always paired with advice from “Your Friendly Neighbourhood Pharmacist!” One forward thinking pharmacy owner does Exam Time gondola ends with all the “brain food” supplements.
December is around the corner and everyone’s getting into the holiday mood, so remember to run mini competitions and hamper giveaways on Facebook, as these types of posts create buzz, draw attention to your business and cost very little.
THE SECRET TO SUCCESS IS TO KEEP LEARNING!
What else is news? Well, we’ve just wrapped up the final leg of our free Super Sessions training in Durbs this past Sunday. We try to make each session different and that’s always a good reason to attend these shows.

One of the requests we received was for front shop staff training, so a few weeks ago we ran a full Front Shop Training Workshop in Johannesburg for 27 people. If you’d like your front shop staff to attend one of these sessions in future, please reply to this email and let us know so we can plan dates for the New Year.
Also, one of the biggest hits at all the Super Sessions was the demo of our Integrated Ordering software. This great new innovation makes it super-easy to create accurate orders on both your Windows and Linux systems, from any terminal in your store.
BUT AS THE SAYING GOES, “THAT’S NOT ALL, FOLKS!”
The systems (both integrated and stand-alone) will also take into account your White Label preferences and guide you accordingly when placing orders, to ensure that you are always ordering the relevant stock.
As it stands, we have at least 6 pharmacies testing the software and giving us valuable real-time information and feedback. We’re in the final testing stages now, and will be ready to launch Integrated Ordering to you at the beginning of the New Year. Remember that the “Stand Alone” version is available right now and there is NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for either system through WeCare, which may save you R500 a month depending on the system you’re currently using.
On the data side, we’ve tested, tweaked and refined Rhain’s Report, which is a special report available to you through your ROM, or Retails Ops Manager. Another report that will become an extremely important part of your business analysis is the Dead and Slow Moving Stock Report, which should be ready for you by the end of this year, so watch this space!
